WHAT WE HAVE DONE

2020

We launched A Generosity Project in 2020. We had raised enough funds to give to 10 families. Through the connections that we had with Seattle Children's Hospital, we were able to partner with the social workers there. They helped us pick the families who would most benefit from this project.

Once the families were selected, just as we did when we adopted other families, we got their gift list and ordered each family presents they could open up on Christmas. It was organized chaos, yet the direct impact of the work on each family was incredible. It was a tremendous success; however, we knew this system needed more scalability.

2021

In our second year, A Generosity Project became momentous because of the impact 2020 made, and funding came flooding in. We also decided to shift how we gave gifts.

We knew that if we were going to continue to grow, we must develop a scalable system, so we created the box. In 2021 we chose to allocate one hundred percent of donations; we gave to 53 families. It was incredible.

2022

In 2023 we continued to hone systems, sharpen our contacts and work hard to hear the stories of the lives we were impacting.

Christmas gifts may seem simple. Yet we found this type of generosity, one box at a time was shifting the demeanor of the patients, their families' lives, and even the hospital's atmosphere.

We gave to 44 amazing families in Seattle and shipped our first box to Denver's Children's hospital.
